“A wonderful stay from start to finish — the hosts were warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, just a short walk from the town centre. A perfectly relaxed end to our trip — we would happily come back.”
Rooms are typically found on a private floor of the host’s own home, with a small number of rooms sharing access to a common area. Many rooms come with their own sink, a small desk, and wardrobe space, along with views that vary from listing to listing. Shared common areas often include a kitchenette with tea and coffee, a dining table, and sometimes a cozy lounge or balcony with panoramic views over the surrounding town or fjord.
Access generally includes your private room along with any shared spaces noted on the individual listing — this might be a common room, kitchenette, or bathroom, depending on the property.
Most hosts are on hand throughout your stay and happy to help — availability and response times vary by listing, so it is worth checking the specific host’s details before booking.
