The puffin paradise with a local guide
Embark on a whole day guided tour of the island Mykines. We will sort everything out for you, so you can relax and enjoy the rich bird population of the charming atlantic puffin. We will be providing you lunch and water, so you can feel energized for the guided hike.
When we take our leave from Tórshavn, you can sit back and relax during the 45 minute drive to Sørvágur’ harbour, from where you board the charming ferry M/F Jósup. The sailing time is approx. 45 minutes.
On top of the harbour stairs you will meet your local guide, who leads you along the steep path to the only village on the island. From there you get to experience Mykines and get up close to the adorable puffin colonies all along the walking path. The local guide will indulge you with local stories, and give you plenty of time to experience the extraordinary nature of the island.
When you are back in the village of Mykines, you have the opportunity to grab a hot cup of coffee at a local café. On the harbour of Sørvágur a bus will be waiting for you, and drive you back to your hotel in Tórshavn.
This includes: Pick-up & drop-off at your hotel in Tórshavn, local guide, ferry ticket, walking fee, and lunch
