Eleverne på Service & Co.s guideskoler kommer fra hele Danmark og det betyder jo også Færøerne. Service & Co. har gennem flere år haft et samarbejde med det færøske turistbureau om uddannelse af guider.
En engelsk journalist besøgte øerne i embeds medfør og hendes guide var Sámal, udannet hos Service & Co. Oplevelsen har fået den britiske journalist til at sende et rosende brev til turistbureauet på øerne og her har medarbejderne sendt det videre til os. The islands are strikingly beautiful and we were particularly happy to visit them with our guide Mr Samal Blahamar. Mr Blahamar was not only an enthralling guide who took time and patience to explain interesting Faroese history and anecdotes, he was also extremely professional on all of his excursions. Mr Blahamar, a polyglot, who speaks at least four languages fluently, conscientiously plans each of his excursions which become “tailor-made” to the tourists.
Mr Blahamar is an asset to your Islands that ought to be more exploited as tourism is budding in the Faroes.
